BUYSEASONS’ parent company, Liberty Media Corporation successfully completed the acquisition of Celebrate Express today. Celebrate Express will now be combined with BUYSEASONS, Inc. “This is a great day for our employees, our vendors and our customers,” commented Jalem Getz, BUYSEASONS’ CEO. “We have spent the last two months working with and getting to know Celebrate Express’ employees, and I would like to officially welcome them into the BUYSEASONS family and thank them for their dedication and hard work while we went through the acquisition process. Now that the transaction is complete we will begin working as a unified team to reenergize our fantastic retail brands”.
BUYSEASONS’ retail brand BuyCostumes.com has led the online market for costumes and Halloween products since 1999. Birthday Express has had similar success in the children’s birthday party supplies market since its inception in 1994, which BUYSEASONS intends to leverage. “We look forward to getting back to the key value proposition established by Mike and Jan Jewell, the founders of Celebrate Express; helping busy parents celebrate the special moments in their children’s lives,” Mr. Getz added.

About Celebrate Express, Inc.
Celebrate Express is a leading online and catalog retailer of celebration products for families. The company currently operates two brands: Birthday Express markets children's party products, and Costume Express markets costumes and accessories. The company utilizes its branded website Celebrateexpress.com, complemented by its branded catalogs, to offer products as complete coordinated solutions. Celebrate Express’ goal is to help families celebrate the special moments in their lives.
The CD consists of 24 tracks with the true Halloween enthusiast in mind. Perfect for the twisted backdrop to a commercial Haunted House event, or simply to ensure Trick-or-Treaters will remember a house for life.
These tracks are the culmination of direct feedback from a select group of both end-user “yard haunters” and commercial Haunts using our previous release “It’s Under the Stairs”. Because of it’s very limited distribution, some key tracks from that release are featured on TEEMING. The 1st track “Serious Young Demon” merges traditional horror string music, with a backdrop of psychotic sounds, random dramatic violin hits, and hellish reversed demons.
Departed Studios’ chief sound designer's experience in production and soundscape ranges from work in Network TV and Cable programs to custom sound design for many top (Grammy winning) recording artists in the music industry. Recorded and mastered with both digital and vintage analog gear, TEEMING features wide psycho-acoustic stereo imaging and deep rich bass.
TEEMING is available at DepartedStudios.com, and is distributed among many fine Halloween retailers on and offline.

If you went last year, you're well aware of just how much f'n fun the Philly Zombie Prom can be! This year we have added just a bit more to the mix;
We had over 600 zombies in attendance last year - to give us all some breathing room, we are opening up the Balcony Bar and seating - -and if you need help creating your zombie face, the uber talented make up artists from Terror Behind The Walls will once again be on site to transform you into your best undead beauty! Faces are $10 and up, depending on how much creative design you crave! We will have four make-up stations this year; one as soon as you enter The Troc and three more upstairs in the Balcony Bar; and while you wait for your ghoulish turn in the chair, the bar will be open to whet your whistle and DJ Kiltboy will be spinning tunes from the dark side!
Also, the Balcony seating will be open all night - 'cause what's a prom without a dark spot for those impromptu make-out sessions, right?!
Downstairs our trusty Prom Photographer Spark will once again be taking your official prom photos (for free!) - which will then be posted on this site for viewing and downloading. Also our official Philly Zombie Crawl Photographer Diable will be on site doing his black magic through the night ... additionally, expect other media in the house - so be sure to look your best!
Both DJ Robert Drake and Dave Ghoul will spin evil musical madness from 8-10pm followed by a live performance from Live Not On Evil and then The Young Werewolves... expect two blistering sets rock and roll!
A new addition is one that we're quite excited about, but first some back story:
When we created the Philly Zombie Prom, our hope was to bring together all the various Halloween elements in Philadelphia under one communal roof to celebrate the beginning of the Halloween Season (which by most standards is October 1st).
This year we are humbled to have Mr. Halloween himself - Henri David - join us on the main stage to strike the gong and officially welcome the Halloween Season to Philadelphia. Like Santa arriving in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, this hopes to become a true Philadelphia Halloween tradition - so don't miss it!!
At midnight Philly Zombie Prom co-hostess Melissa Torre will join us to crown the Zombie King and Queen of Philadelphia - as well as announce the costume winners - then it's dancing until closing!
Now, in preparation for the Prom, be sure to take advantage of some great savings; first off - visit our Prom Details page by clicking the tab above - and print out the Halloween Masquerade Superstore coupon - then go shop for all your ghoulish needs at their store on Columbus Blvd near Washington Ave and present the coupon at check out to save 15% off your entire purchase!!
